Do you even look at a picture and just look at it? Or do you really look into it. Look at the beauty of everything in the photograph. It’s not just a photo of an object, a person, a place, but of life; of the beauty that life holds in it. And the beauty we can capture through a tiny lens. A photograph can have a story behind it that none of us will ever know. It can show some of the most dramatic moments of life, some of the happiest, some of the times that you won’t remember you went through. Yet, it can bring back emotions that will flood through your veins like heroin. Though many don’t view photography as such an emotional part of their lives, I believe is has a huge take in every single humans life. It captures something that we will forever treasure. It reminds us of what we loved once, what we held on to, what we cried over. It can open up your eyes to show you that you’re not alone, or that you have absolutely everything to be thankful for you. Life passes by us at a pace that we can’t even fathom to see. Without things such as pictures to show us who we once were or have become, we have but vague memories of what lays in our heads. It shows that we have to appreciate life for more than just being alive. We have to appreciate it for the beauty the world gives us everyday, for the beautiful people we’re photographed with, for the amazing minds who created things to take pictures of. Everything in life should be more than just accounted for, but fully loved.
